The agreement
These terms are between you and One Frequency Inc., which operates Makeup Reality. By using makeupreality.com or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. The apps will have their own terms, which we'll show you before you use them.
Who can use it
You must be 16 or older and located in the United States to join the waitlist or apply as a creator.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't guarantee access by a particular date. Early access may roll out in waves. You can leave any time with the unsubscribe link in any email.
Founding Creators applications
Applying doesn't create a partnership or any obligation for either side. If you're selected, we'll send a separate written creator agreement covering credit, revenue share, content rights, and payment, and nothing is final until both sides sign it. Only send us content and information you have the right to share.
AI-generated content
Mira is an AI, and her suggestions, renders, and feedback are generated by AI models. They can be wrong. Makeup advice is general guidance, not medical or dermatological advice; patch test new products and talk to a professional about any skin concern. See our AI disclosure.
Affiliate disclosure
When the app launches, some product links will be affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and founding creators may share in it. Affiliate links are always labeled. Commissions never decide what Mira recommends; she starts from what you already own and suggests the cheapest product that works. Sponsored content, if we ever run any, is always labeled as sponsored.
Our content
The site, the Makeup Reality and Mira names, and the Mira character belong to One Frequency Inc.. Please don't copy the site or use our names in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Fair use of the site
Don't submit false information or someone else's email, try to break or overload the site, or scrape it at scale.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where One Frequency Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update them; we'll post the new version here with a new date. Questions: hello@makeupreality.com.
